Taylor Swift is putting out a new version of a song from an older album. “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” comes out on July 7, the megastar said on Instagram.
Swift wrote –
“With six extra songs I’ve sprung loose from the vault, I absolutely cannot wait to celebrate Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) with you on July 7th.”
Swift stated that she wrote “Speak Now” when she was 18 to 20 years old and that it was released in 2010. Swift wrote –
“The songs that came from this time in my life were marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions and wild wistfulness. I love this album because it tells a tale of growing up, flailing, flying and crashing … and living to speak about it.”

Big Machine, Swift’s old record company, sold the master recordings of all of her albums in 2019, so the singer had to record new versions of her old albums. Swift put out “Red (Taylor’s Version)” and “Fearless (Taylor’s Version)” in 2021.
The singer of “Anti-Hero” announced on Instagram earlier this year that she would be putting out four songs that had never been released before: “Eyes Open (Taylor’s Version),” “Safe & Sound (Taylor’s Version)” with Joy William and John Boy Music, “If This Was a Movie (Taylor’s Version),” and “All of the Girls You Loved Before.”
Swift wrote that “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” would come out “just in time for July 9th,” which is a line from the song “Last Kiss” on the record. Swift’s news comes in the middle of her first live tour in five years, the Eras Tour.
