Whenever I am able to fit in my morning swim, I know that my day is going to be off to a fantastic start. Ofelia Plads, located on the harbor front and accessible to the public at no cost, is where I go for daily swims in both the winter and summer. This swimming area has the greatest view of the Opera House and is ideal for a quick morning dip.
You can swim or sunbathe here whenever you like, however, the afternoons in the summer can get quite busy. Jefferies is the only place I’ll go for coffee after a swim. They have multiple sites in the Copenhagen area, but the one closest to our Stine Goya offices is the one I frequent. The beautiful Kastellet Park, perfect for a stroll on a warm day, is direct across the street.

I enjoy taking a stroll across the mall after my coffee break to peruse some interesting stores. The jewelry and silverware from Griegst and the interior, design, and art pieces from Etage Projects are two of my all-time favorite sources of design inspiration. My house and the office are within easy walking distance of each other.
Because Thomas and I got our wedding rings from Griegst, we’ll always have a special connection to the company, and their showroom and shop are really stunning. Etage Projects, located on Borgergade, is the finest place to get unique new things for your house. The gallery features limited-edition pieces by established and emerging artists and designers.
Maupa, a new pizzeria by chef David Fischer, is located only a five-minute stroll from Etage Projects on Store Kongensgade. Hos Fischer, David’s first restaurant, is located in the Sterbro area and serves up some of the best pasta I’ve ever had. I had to check out his new pizzeria when I heard he had opened one, and it did not let me down. Maupa doesn’t take reservations, but if you go at lunch, you have a better chance of getting a table, and the wait is always worth it because they serve the best Roman-style pizza.

The afternoons would find me seeing various museums and art galleries. My first stop is always V1 Gallery in the Meatpacking District, which is just a ten-minute bike ride from the city’s main hub and has regularly changing contemporary shows by both well-known and up-and-coming artists. The Meatpacking District was formerly a manufacturing hub, but it has since been transformed into a cultural mecca known for its many excellent restaurants and lively bar and club scene.
A brief stop at Lille Bl, the best wine bar in town, is possible before supper or right after work. The walls of this cozy tavern, whose name translates to “tiny blue,” are painted a stunning shade of deep electric blue. I have found some of my favorite wines to date among their variety of organic and natural vintages from Austria. The staff is really warm and helpful in guiding you to a bottle of wine that suits your taste.
According to ft, the Korean restaurant Juju is one of my new favorites, and it’s only a few feet away from my apartment. A reservation is strongly suggested due to the limited seating. The menu has a variety of meals meant to be shared, making for a more relaxed and homey dining experience in which more food may be sampled. The fried chicken from Korea is delicious.

Finally, Hotel Sanders is where you want to be if you’re looking for a drink at the end of the day. It’s close to Kongens Nytorv and boasts a cozy atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a classy drink. The intimate atmosphere of their cocktail bar, Tata, makes it perfect for a night out with pals or a special someone. The menu rotates frequently, but the Sour Lovin’ (made with gin, lemon, and sage honey) is a fan favorite right now.
