Friday evening, West Tennessee was hit by severe storms and tornadoes that originated in the Mississippi Valley and spread eastward. Between 11 p.m. and midnight on Friday, the Middle Tennessee area is anticipated to be struck by severe storms with the potential for strong winds and even tornadoes.
Middle Tennessee and some of East Tennessee are under a tornado watch until 7 a.m. on Saturday, April 1. Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Maury, Robertson, Rutherford, Williamson, and Wilson are all included on the watch.

Cheatham and Dickson Counties are under a tornado watch until Saturday at 12:30 a.m. Cheatham, Davidson, Robertson, Sumner, and Wilson Counties are under a severe thunderstorm watch until 12:30 AM. Hail up to one inch in diameter is also possible in the area.
Mid-Tennessee: 10 p.m.-1 a.m
Between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m., the National Weather Service in Nashville anticipates heavy storms to hit Middle Tennessee.
