Black Mirror is back with five new nightmares that are sure to send you into existential crisis mode, ranging from the dangers posed by artificial intelligence in Joan Is Horrible and true crime in Loch Henry to a space mission in Beyond the Sea and a twist on the Black Mirror formula in Mazey Day and Demon 79.
As with previous seasons of the Netflix anthology, each episode of season 6 of Black Mirror features an entirely new cast and narrative. The season 6 cast includes a number of well-known actors, such as Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul and The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard’s Salma Hayek Pinault, as well as a number of rising stars.

Black Mirror Season 6: Beyond the Sea Cast
Beyond the Sea, the third episode of Black Mirror’s sixth season is a dark and suspenseful story about two astronauts on a perilous voyage to the moon. Aaron Paul as Cliff, Josh Hartnett as David, Kate Mara as Lana, Auden Thornton as Jessica, and Rory Culkin as Kappa are featured in this episode.
Aaron Paul
Aaron Paul is best known for playing Jesse Pinkman in the AMC television series Breaking Bad. He has also appeared in Truth Be Told, Westworld, and The Path for Apple TV+. In “Beyond the Sea,” Paul portrays Cliff, a veteran astronaut.
Who’s Cliff? Cliff is an astronaut on a multi-year space mission. Nevertheless, he is still able to spend time with his loved ones by using a “replica” body that is still on Earth.
Josh Hartnett
Josh Hartnett has starred in films such as Pearl Harbour, Black Hawk Down, 40 Days and 40 Nights, and O, for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe. David, the young astronaut is portrayed by Josh Hartnett in “Beyond the Sea”.
Who’s David? David is an astronaut on a multi-year space mission with Cliff, played by Aaron Paul. He begins to lose his composure, however, when a calamity befalls him.
Kate Mara
Kate Mara has starred in the films House of Cards, American Horror Story: Murder House, 24, Pose, and Call Jane, for which she was nominated for an Emmy. In “Beyond the Sea,” Mara portrays the wife of Cliff, Lana.
Who is Lana? Lana is the wife of Cliff, portrayed by Aaron Paul, and the couple recently relocated to the woods. However, Lana appears to be unhappy with how her life is progressing.

Auden Thornton
Young actress Auden Thornton makes her television debut in “Beyond the Sea.” She plays Jessica, David’s wife. Thornton has starred in This Is Us and Thirtysomething(else), but she has also appeared as a guest star in Elementary, Bull, The Good Wife, Royal Pains, and True Story.
Who is Jessica? Jessica is David’s wife, and at the opening of the episode, the couple appears to have the ideal life. Black Mirror has taught us, however, that nothing is ever perfect.
Rory Culkin
Rory Culkin is a veteran actor who has appeared in such films as Scream 4, Lords of Chaos, and You Can Count on Me. In “Beyond the Sea,” Culkin portrays Kappa, an enigmatic figure whose actions leave Cliff, David, and their families permanently scarred.
