In Episode 8 of Season 4 of Stranger Things, Dr. Brenner Passes Away
Episode 8 of Stranger Things season 4 volume 2 is named “Papa,” and it features the first significant death of the season. Based on the title alone, viewers have long assumed that Dr. Brenner will play a key part in this episode. Stranger Things, season 4, episode 1 does feature Matthew Modine’s character, and he plays a significant role.
He keeps trying to explain Eleven’s abilities and keep her from escaping to save her pals at the next facility. Once the government arrives at his facility to execute Eleven, Brenner’s attitude shifts, and he aids her in escaping. After breaking in, Brenner and Eleven discover the bodies of many additional medical professionals shot dead.
Brenner must carry Eleven into the desert as they try to escape the effects of the medications he placed into her earlier. A government chopper with a sniper on board has made the situation even worse. At first, the sniper just hits Brenner in the shoulder, but after a few more shots, he falls to the ground.
However, Dr. Brenner is not finally killed until later in Stranger Things season 4, volume 2. He is able to have one final discussion with Eleven once he removes the power-dampening device from around her neck. After the events of volume 1 established that Papa was still alive in the present day despite his believed death in season 1, the conclusion of volume 2 of Stranger Things season 4 involves the death of Brenner.

Eddie Munson Dies In Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 Finale
One of the highlights of Stranger Things seasons 4 was the introduction of Eddie Munson, played by Joseph Quinn, who quickly became a fan favorite as the Dungeons & Dragons-obsessed leader of the Hellfire Club. Eddie Munson, the main suspect in Chrissy’s murder, was a key character during the fourth season. It was because of this that a theory began to spread that Vecna was responsible for the ritualistic deaths of many Hawkins citizens. As the series progressed, viewers and many of the Stranger Things characters found that Eddie was actually a nice and fun-loving young adult.
Eddie Munson tragically dies in the final episode of Stranger Things season 4. After helping Dustin escape the Upside Down and playing a metal version of Metallica’s “Master of Puppets,” he cuts the rope. In an effort to fulfill his inner hero, Eddie ventures back outside to confront Vecna’s killer bats.
He fights the swarm of Upside Down creatures courageously at first, but ultimately they are too numerous for him to overcome. Dustin is by Eddie’s side when he passes away in Stranger Things season 4, volume 2, and he will be sure to relay the news to Eddie’s uncle that his nephew passed away a hero.
Stranger Things Volume 2 of Season 4 Features Jason Carver Demise
In the second book of Stranger Things, Jason Carver also meets his end. After learning that Lucas is currently residing in the historic Creel House, the famous basketball player immediately suspected him of involvement in the multiple deaths of Hawkins.
At the house, Jason launches an assault on Lucas, nearly killing him, while Max is trapped inside by Vecna. As the conclusion progresses, Lucas eventually wins and knocks Jason to the ground, where he remains for the duration. Unfortunately for the vindictive athlete, this places him squarely in the path of the Upside Down’s widening fissures. At the conclusion of Stranger Things season 4, volume 2, Jason is killed as the Upside Down rips him in half.
In Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 Does Vecna Pass Away?
When it came to the fate of Vecna, the antagonist of Stranger Things season 4, many fans wondered if he would survive to the end of the second book. Some viewers may still be uncertain if the guy formerly known as Henry is alive or dead, even after seeing the series’ conclusion.
Eleven intervenes to prevent Vecna from killing Max, and the next scene places him in the Upside Down attic of the Creel home with Steve, Nancy, and Robin. In addition to Nancy’s several shotgun blasts, Steve and Robin set him on fire. The final bullet knocks him out of the window and he falls to the floor below. Vecna’s burnt remains on the ground give the impression that he was killed in a fire and that nothing of him remains.
