Horror thriller The Strays, set in the United Kingdom, has an eerie first trailer that has just been released by Netflix. The film follows a middle-class woman whose carefully designed existence is shattered when two mysterious strangers move into her town.
Neve, played by Ashley Madekwe, has it made in the suburbs thanks to her supportive family and satisfying profession as a teacher at a prestigious private school. But when a mysterious man and lady keep showing up at inopportune times, she begins to question her own sanity.
Neve tries to get help from her loved ones, but she feels helpless when they don’t believe her. The atmosphere is continually unsettling, becoming increasingly strange in the second half of the trailer.

Taking center stage is Ashley Madekwe. You may remember her as Ashley Davenport on the ABC suspense series Revenge. She also appeared in the films Summering, Tell Me a Story, and Tell Me Your Secrets in addition to Salem and The Umbrella Academy.
