New characters are introduced in Season 2. New members of the Crow Club, Wylan, Tamar Kir-Bataar (Anna Leong Brophy), and Tolya Yul-Bataar (Lewis Tan), as well as fan-favorite Nikolai Lantsov, alias Sturmhond (Patrick Gibson), are introduced (Jack Wolfe).

What Will Transpire In Season 2?

Some see Alina as a saviour; others see her as a traitor; either way, she is committed to bringing down the Shadow Fold and saving Ravka from destruction. This time, however, General Kirigan is supported by a frightening new army of supposedly invincible shadow monsters and terrible new Grisha soldiers.

Scars on the face won’t prevent this Darkling from unleashing his fury. Alina and Mal need to find two mythological animals that can magnify her powers to have a chance against him. They’ll have to rally powerful new allies and embark on a quest across an entire continent.

The best part about Season 2 is that we finally get to continue the story of those individuals who were left in such a bind at the end of Season 1.

Executive producer and co-showrunner Eric Heisserer tells Tudum that the upcoming season holds great promise for the characters. They’ll learn from their mistakes and encounter exciting individuals on the way. The mythology and cast of characters in the Grishaverse also grow this season.
