When questioned in the trial of Lori Vallow Daybell, a forensic pathologist who performed an autopsy on the body of JJ Vallow stated that the boy dἰed of asphyxia.
Dr. Garth Warren, a forensic pathologist with contracts with multiple Idaho counties, told that the 7-year-old’s asphyxiation was caused by a plastic bag over his head and duct tape over his mouth.
Warren disclosed during his interrogation that when they received JJ’s c0rpse for the autopsy, they discovered a white plastic bag taped over his head. Additionally, duct tape was wrapped around his forearms, wrists, and ankles.
After the autopsy was completed, law enforcement was given clothing, duct tape, the plastic container, hair, and teeth, Warren stated during the trial.

Do you know that Jerry Springer, a famous TV host and former mayor of Cincinnati, dἰed of pancreatic cancer? Springer, 79, pἀssed away peacefully in his Chicago suburb residence on April 27:
Warren stated that there were no indications of disease or trauma to internal organs, including the sternum and lungs. It was also testified that they determined Tylee Ryan, JJ’s sister, was the victim of an unspecified homἰcide. He described how the 16-year-old’s charred and destroyed remains were delivered to him in a variety of sacks.
After a four-hour autopsy, the cause of J.J.’s deἀth was determined to be asphyxiation and the manner of deἀth was homἰcide. Tylee’s remains were so mutἰlated that it was impossible to determine the cause of her deἀth. A week-long autopsy revealed that the manner of deἀth was a homἰcide.
East Idaho News reported that during the autopsy, Warren stated that they searched for bullets, a portion of a knife, and any other detritus that could be collected as evidence. They discovered only a collection of bones covered in mud and grime.
Warren testified that there was no evidence that Tylee was alive when her body was incinerated using a variety of tests. The c0rpses of JJ and Tylee were discovered in the backyard of Chad Daybell’s rural Idaho residence on June 9, 2020.
The interrogation occurs during the third week of Lori Vallow Daybell’s eight-week trial in St. Anthony, Idaho. Lori Vallow Daybell and Chad Daybell are accused of conspiring to murder JJ, Tylee, and Chad Daybell’s late wife, Tammy Daybell.
