“Jesse Stone” Films in Chronological Order
Would you like to watch the Jesse Stone films in chronological order? Even though it’s the second film in the series, “Jesse Stone: Night Passage” is a great place to begin if this is the case.
Do you know that ABC has confirmed that “The Rookie” will return for a sixth season, with the show likely to hit the 100-episode mark? Even though this movie takes place before “Stone Cold,” which starts the whole series, you should watch them in order to make sure there are no problems with the timeline or story holes as you go along. For your convenience, we’ve also included trailers for the movies listed below.
‘Jesse Stone: Night Passage’ (2006)
“Night Passage,” the second movie in the Jesse Stone series, brings Tom Selleck back to the big screen. This prequel to “Stone Cold” shows what happens to Stone after he is fired from his job as a muɼder detective in Santa Monica, California, because he drinks too much while on the job.
‘Jesse Stone: Stone Cold’ (2005)
“Jesse Stone: Stone Cold” was an exciting 2005 movie directed by Robert Harmon and starring Tom Selleck. The movie is based on a book by Robert B. Parker, and it was Selleck’s first time playing Jesse Stone in what would become a series of movies.
‘Jesse Stone: Deἀth in Paradise’ (2006)
The police chief of a small town called Paradise is Jesse Stone, who is played by Tom Selleck. When a young girl is kἰlled, Jesse finds that there are more bad people involved than he thought. It’s up to him to figure out what happened and bring justice to those who did it.
‘Jesse Stone: Sea Change’ (2007)
The fourth Jesse Stone movie is just as exciting as the first three. Tom Selleck, Kathy Baker, and Kohl Sudduth are in this movie, which was directed by Robert Harmon.
‘Jesse Stone: Thin Ice’ (2009)
In “Thin Ice,” the fifth film in his nine-film series about police work, Jesse Stone is back. In this episode, Jesse looks into a mysterious letter sent to the mother of a child who was thought to be deἀd. Even though his boss told him not to look into the case any further, Jesse doesn’t listen and starts looking deeper into it. What he finds out could lead to truths that are much scarier than he ever thought.
‘Jesse Stone: No Remorse’ (2010)
In this exciting part, Jesse is kicked off the town council of Paradise and takes on cases without permission from the government. As Jesse follows his lead, he runs into an old friend who is looking into a similar robbery and muɼder suspect in Boston.
‘Jesse Stone: Innocents Lost’ (2011)
Back on the job is Jesse Stone. In this episode of the series, we follow Jesse as he fights his own demons and tries to solve two different muɼders. With Jesse’s son-in-law taking over as police chief in Paradise, Massachusetts, and Jesse still doing private investigations on the side, this movie is full of mystery and drama.
‘Jesse Stone: Benefit of the Doubt’ (2012)
The eighth of nine TV movies based on Robert B. Parker’s Jesse Stone books picks up right where the last one left off. The actors and director did a great job, the story is thrilling and exciting, and the finish was a surprise.
‘Jesse Stone: Lost in Paradise’ (2015)
I highly suggest the ninth and last movie in the Jesse Stone series if you want to watch a good mystery movie. In this movie, Tom Selleck plays Jesse, an unpaid investigator who is asked to join Lt. Sydney Greenstreet’s Massachusetts State Police Homicide Unit to take his mind off the loss of his beloved pet dog.
