Total Overdose PC Requirements: HIDEO KOJIMA IS Currently Developing Yet Another Game Gamers were aware of this fact from the moment, in June 2022, that Xbox Games Studio revealed that it will be partnering with Kojima Productions. However, at the time, neither the project’s name nor the nature of what it would ultimately become was clear. In point of fact, the moniker “Overdose” was nothing more than an idle rumor up until a few days ago, when a video that was claimed to be of a horror game but was actually a leak went viral on social media.
The majority of the leaked videos from Overdose have been removed since their initial release, which in and of itself is telling. We are fortunate that there are still some remnants of it to be found. This is what we currently know about the game that Kojima is working on, which has the potential to be his newest release.

Henderson’s initial report on Overdose was based on footage of the project that was sent to him by an anonymous source. The footage “shows the character walking through dark corridors with a flashlight in third-person, but it’s been suggested that the game can also be played in first-person,” Henderson wrote in his initial report. At the very conclusion of the film, there is a sudden jump scare that displays the words “GAME OVER” followed by the words “A Hideo Kojima Game”… “OVERDOSE.”
Since that time, Henderson has provided additional commentary on the issue by way of an exclusive piece on Try Hard Guides. The article discusses how Kojima Productions requested that Henderson remove the report from the website.

Before going on to discuss even more information regarding Overdose, Henderson made the following statement: “Soon after the release of the post, Kojima Productions came out to ask for the material to be withdrawn, of which I kindly declined,” Henderson added.
“However, there is a vital piece of information that I did not report on with the video that I was shown, and that is the fact that the individual seems to be playing the game on some type of mobile device, and it is highly likely that the device in question is a Google Pixel. It is likely a huge coincidence that the mobile device that appears to be used seems to be a Google Pixel, but it reasserts that the Overdose title is almost certainly the Xbox cloud-based title that was announced. This is especially significant when considering that Google had previously denied reports that the company was working on any games with Kojima.
The last thing that Henderson says is that they simply wanted the item to be removed “for now,” which suggests that they would like it to be removed until they had the opportunity to announce it themselves.
Even though there is a lot of substance here and reliability with what Henderson says, this has to be considered speculation and should be taken with a pinch of salt until Kojima Productions announces that Overdose does indeed exist.
