Remnant 2 Gameplay
Summer Game Fest 2023 featured fresh new Remnant 2 gameplay, demonstrating the explosive action available when the game is released. This trailer, in particular, shows co-op gameplay, with players working together to defeat towering machines and hideous beasts.
We also got a decent sense of the gameplay from our hands-on peek of Remnant 2 at GDC in March 2023. Even though we could play a small segment and were playing alone, the game’s improved gunplay and movement mechanics were noticeable. The boss fights that we were also given was a fantastic set piece.
Similarly, the environments have been vastly improved over the first game, with more varied places substantially impacting gameplay. For example, one clip in a Remnant 2 teaser shows players jumping across train cars, while another shows pillars emerging from the ground to form walls and view spots on the fly.
