God of War 3 PC Requirements: Santa Monica Studio created and SCE released God of War 3, an action-adventure hack-and-slash video game. God of War 3 is the sequel to 2007’s God of War 2 for the PlayStation 3 and the sixth game in the God of War series overall. The game’s plot revolves around vengeance and is loosely based on Greek mythology, taking place in an ancient Greek setting.
After being betrayed by his father Zeus, King of the Olympian gods, the player assumes control of Kratos, the former God of War. Kratos takes the fight to the gods on Mount Olympus, only to have Titan Gaia forsake him and restart the Great War. Kratos, inspired by Athena’s soul, fights his way through monsters, gods, and Titans to find Pandora so that he can open the box, overthrow Zeus, put an end to the reign of the Olympian gods, and finally exact his revenge.

Platforms For God of War Ragnarök

Despite the fact that Ragnarök was shown off in a proper fashion during a showcase stream dedicated entirely to the PlayStation 5, the following information has shown that the game will also be released for the PS4.
That’s to be expected, given that, at first glance, the game appears to be little more than a polished update to the previous entry in the series. While this may be disappointing to some next-gen gamers, Sony will be able to reach a much larger audience thanks to the PS4’s massive user base.
Check out the Tweet below to get a sneak peek at the game’s graphics performance options, of which there are several (and may vary depending on the platform). To know the story of The God of War 3, keep reading below.

The Epic of Ragnarök The God War
If you haven’t played through the conclusion of God of War from 2018, you should probably stop reading now.
At the game’s conclusion, we learn that Atreus was given the name Loki at birth, implying that he, too, is a member of the Norse pantheon that Kratos has been trying to keep hidden. Fimbulwinter, a plague of ice that precedes the world-ending Ragnarök, begins with Baldur’s death.
The first Ragnarök teaser shows us that Atreus has matured a bit, entering his awkward adolescence. Freya, who is still mourning Baldur’s death, is only one of the Norse gods that will be coming after Kratos, and Thor’s looming presence in the backdrop is also undeniable.
Your helpful talking head Mimir from the previous game is back, and he seems to be hatching a plot to liberate Tyr, Norse mythology’s own god of war so that he can join your fight against the other gods. We’ll let you decide if that’s as easy as it sounds to do.
Two weeks before Ragnarök’s debut in October 2022, the game’s creators posted a fascinating video feature showing how the game’s tale has evolved.
