The Witcher Season 4 Release Date

Great news for The Witcher fans! The show is coming back for Season 4 to continue the adventures of Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri. Henry Cavill, who played Geralt, won’t be in Season 4 – Liam Hemsworth is taking over. Some people are excited about this change, while others are unsure.

Even though we don’t know the exact release date for Season 4, we’re happy to see that it’s being made. Season 5 has also been confirmed. But there are some problems causing delays, like the strikes by writers and actors who want better pay. This has stopped many shows from being made, including The Witcher.

The good news is that the scripts for Season 4 are all finished. They started working on them in late 2022 and were done by May 2023. So, the strikes didn’t affect the writing.

But here’s the not-so-good news: Netflix said they’d start filming in September 2023, but they’ve moved that to 2024 because of the strikes. And because The Witcher has lots of special effects and giant sets, it usually takes about 15-18 months to film and finish everything. This means Season 4 might not come out until the first part of 2025. So, it’s unlikely that Season 4 will be released in August, as some people hoped.
