It has been announced that Riverdale season 6 will return two weeks later than anticipated. Due to this little change in the scheduling, the midseason premiere of the programme will now air on The CW on Sunday, March 20. Everything you need to know about Riverdale Season 6.

The Critics’ Choice Awards have been postponed to March 13 in order to accommodate Riverdale’s return, according to Deadline. The decision was made to reschedule so that the remaining episodes of the season can air without interruption. This will prevent airing one episode followed by a short hiatus.

Fans are really interested to see where the story continues when the five-episode event “Rivervale” concludes.

Chris O’Shea, who starred in You, has also joined the cast as Archie’s rival Percival Pickens.

Riverdale Season 6 Plot/Story

Riverdale Season 6 Cast

KJ Apa, a high school football player with a love of music, portrays the role of Archie Andrews. Betty Cooper and Jughead Jones are Archie’s closest buddies. Lili Reinhart, a bright young woman with a long-standing crush for Archie, befriends Veronica Lodge in an effort to derail her idyllic existence. Veronica Lodge was portrayed by the actor Camila Mendes.

She went to Riverdale from New York and became friends with Archie, Betty, and Jughead. Archie’s closest buddy and a philosophical misfit is Jughead Jones, who is portrayed by Cole Sprouse. Hermione Lodge (née Gomez), played by Mara Isabel Nichols in seasons 1 through 5, is Veronica’s mother. After Hiram Lodge was put behind bars, she comes back to Riverdale.

Madeline Petsch portrays Cheryl Blossom, a wealthy, entitled, and a cunning girl who is Archie’s classmate. In season two, Cheryl and Toni begin dating. Josie McCoy, Archie’s classmate, was portrayed by Ashleigh Murray in seasons 1-4 and season 5 as a special guest star.

She was the Josie and the Pussycats’ lead vocalist. Madchen Amick is Alice Cooper, the editor of the neighbourhood paper and mother to Betty and Polly. Luke Perry, who plays Fred Andrews on the show (seasons 1-3), is Archie’s father.
