Past And legend
A powerful extraterrestrial race called the Eridians ruled the galaxy eons before the games’ events. They vanished without a trace, but not before leaving behind crypts and ruins filled with vast treasures (and threats), and it was the discovery of these items, as well as their advanced technology, that brought large corporations to Pandora. After years of competition among businesses over Pandora’s limited resources and the abuse of its workforce, many of its inhabitants have become angry against one another and their new home planet.
Sirens: In the Borderlands canon, sirens are female characters that possess supernatural abilities. There can only ever be a total of six Sirens in the entire universe. Not much is known about their past, however, some have hypothesized that they are related to the Eridians. In Borderlands 3, their backstory will be investigated in greater depth.
What is the Plot of Borderlands?
The original game was out in 2009 and combined first-person shooting with elements from titles like Diablo. Players could select from four unique Vault Hunters as they set out to discover the world, battle bandits, monsters, and other bad guys, and build an arsenal of rare and uncommon weapons and equipment. It’s up to the players to decide how best to use their character’s unique combination of skills.
Borderlands stood out thanks to its unique art design, hilarious writing, and massive arsenal players could find throughout Pandora.
Following the release of “2009: Borderlands 2” and “2014: Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel,” a total of three additional games have been added to the franchise.
Independently, in 2014, Telltale Games released a serialized adventure game based on the Borderlands series.
It’s also the source of one of gaming’s most enduring icons: the adorable pixelated robot Claptrap.

Is There Anything Different in Borderlands 3?
“Borderlands 3” adds four new Vault Hunters to the series’ roster.
Amara is a seductress with the power of six enchanted fists. Moze is a mech-creating and -piloting assault class. FL4K is an AI that employs pets to aid him in his pursuit and destruction of foes. Zane relies on technology to help him succeed. There’s a tonne of room for creativity and individuality thanks to the fact that each playable character has their own unique set of talents that can be tailored to the player’s playstyle.
The Calypso Twins, Tyreen and Troy, are trying to combine bandit tribes to centralize control, and the Vault Hunters will have to stop them. In addition to not being limited to just one planet, players are given the entire universe to discover. Gearbox assures players that each planet will feature its own challenging environments and adversaries.
Just How Good Is It, If At All?
In accordance with Metacritic, the PC version of “Borderlands 3” has an average review score of 85. (no info on PS4 or Xbox One versions yet).
Most of the game’s high scores come from IGN, which gives the game 95 out of 100 and says it “sticks to its guns and manages to outdo itself.” The reviewers at Gamespot were also impressed, calling the game a “pleasant return to form” after “The Pre-Sequel.”
However, PC Gamer was not as thrilled, claiming that “Borderlands 3” has a dated aesthetic. According to Polygon’s evaluation, similar sentiments can be found. “Formerly, the franchise had a sense of adventure. It’s a relic from another era now that hasn’t been updated with modern thinking.”
To What Extent Does Borderlands 3 Plot Affect Its Gameplay?
If you’re familiar with the Borderlands series, the 35-hour campaign will be more of the same. Although the gameplay is fundamentally unchanged, the gunplay has been refined and new characters have been added to keep things interesting. FL4K, for instance, is a Beastmaster who can bring an army of monsters to his help. Every main character now possesses a wide variety of abilities that may be customized to fit your playstyle.
You can now restrict loot ninjas by only allowing weapons and goods to spawn in a player’s own instance. Gearbox has also rebalanced the difficulty of enemies, such that players will face off against opponents of roughly the same level as the players currently occupying a given server. Improved movement technology includes the ability to amble over cover like in Gears of War and the slide from Call of Duty and Apex Legends.
