Alex Rodriguez
Lopez and Rodriguez started dating in March 2017. At the time, a source told Page Six –
“They are really into each other because they have so much in common — from their Latin roots to their love of New York and their kids.”
The former Yankee revealed the relationship on “The View” that same month, and the couple made their first public appearance together at a Lakers game.
Rodriguez asked her to marry him on a fancy trip in March 2019, but they won’t be getting married after all because there were rumors he was texting “Southern Charm” star Madison LeCroy.
A former Playboy Playmate said that Rodriguez asked her for a threesome right before he proposed to Lopez, and baseball player Jose Canseco said that Rodriguez had an affair with his ex-wife, Jessica. Page Six was the first to report that the couple broke off their engagement in March 2021.
Drake
Lopez and Drake dated for a few months in 2016, but PR pros in the industry were skeptical about the relationship. A source told in January 2017 –
“This relationship is fake, it is just a publicity stunt to publicize their record together,”
“If Jennifer and Drake were really dating, they’d be way more private about it.”
“Doesn’t Drake realize that it looks weird to declare his love for RiRi at the MTV awards, then start flaunting his chemistry with J.Lo a few months later?” the source added of Drake’s emotional tribute to Rihanna at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards.
Casper Smart
Casper Smart, who was 17 years younger than Lopez, was her boyfriend for two and a half years. Smart said in 2012 –
“It was really professional for a very long time before anything even happened.”
“It just really spontaneously happened I guess. The chemistry was there. You can’t fight it.”
In 2014, they broke up because it was said that Smart had been texting with two transs*xual models. In 2015, they would get back together, but in 2016, they would break up for good.
Marc Anthony
Lopez started dating Latin music superstar Marc Anthony in September 2003. They got married in June 2004, just one week after Anthony got divorced from former Miss Universe Dayanara Torres. In 2008, they had twins, Max and Emme. In 2011, they broke up.
Lopez continued by claiming that working together on their 2017 Spanish-language album “Por Primera Vez” “actually kind of repaired certain parts of our relationship that had been fractured from our marriage and our divorce.”
Ben Affleck
“Bennifer” became one of the most famous celebrity pairs of the 2000s. In Lopez’s video for “Jenny From the Block,” Affleck was seen holding Lopez’s famous rear.
While making “Gigli” in 2001, when Lopez was still married to Cris Judd, they met. In November 2002, Affleck and Lopez got engaged, and Lopez allegedly ordered a $15,000 gown from Vera Wang. However, they broke up a few days before the wedding, which was said to be two days before.
Lopez later said that Affleck was “her first big heartbreak,” but she and Affleck later got back together. After pictures of them getting close on a date came out in June 2021, it was said that they were back together for good.
They kept dating seriously for a few more months before he asked her to marry him for the second time in April 2022. Lopez and Affleck told the world they got married in Lopez’s “On The JLo” magazine on July 17.
“We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient,” she wrote of the Las Vegas ceremony, noting it was “exactly what we wanted.”
The “Marry Me” star also said that she wore “a dress from an old movie” when they said their vows in the “little chapel” and “gave each other the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives.”
Cris Judd
Cris Judd, a dancer and director, was Lopez’s second husband. When he was hired to sh00t her music video for “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” in late 2000, they met in Spain. They got married in September 2001 and broke up in June 2002.
Judd later said of the relationship –
“Your privacy is breached.”
“You’re no longer a normal person. [Our wedding] was a circus. I think several people got arrested trying to climb up a mountain … trying to sneak in. We actually rented the airspace.”
Diddy
Possible power couple in music for the very short time period of 1999–2001. But Lopez’s friendship with Sean “Diddy” Combs, who was still known as “Puff Daddy” at the time, was hurt by rumors that Combs was unfaithful and by a weapons and bribery trial related to a sh00ting at Club New York in December 1999. (In the end, a jury found him not guilty.)
Even so, Combs compared their relationship to those of Ava Gardner and Frank Sinatra and Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe, two other famous couples. “I’m Frank, you know what I’m saying?” he added, helpfully.
Ojani Noa
In February 1997, Lopez married her first spouse, Cuban waiter Ojani Noa, whom she met in Miami while filming “Blood and Wine.”
Just 11 months later, in January 1998, they got divorced, but that didn’t stop Noa from selling a supposed s*x tape from their trip. The tape was never disseminated, but Noa finally appeared on a 2016 episode of “Million Dollar Matchmaker.”
