Amanda Knox…Who Is She?
Amanda Marie Knox is a writer, activist, and journalist, among many other things. She spent almost four years in an Italian prison after being wrongfully convicted of murdering her roommate and fellow exchange student Meredith Kercher in 2007. In 2015, Knox received a final decision of acquittal from the Italian Supreme Court of Cassation.
After returning to her and Kercher’s flat with her boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito, Knox, who was 20 at the time of the murder, called 911 after finding Kercher’s bedroom door shut and blood in the bathroom.
It is alleged that during subsequent police interrogations, she implicated herself and her employer, Patrick Lumumba, in the murder. After the first arrests of Knox, Sollecito, and Lumumba for Kercher’s murder, Lumumba was released. Knox and Sollecito were found guilty and sentenced to significant jail time after their initial trial (26 and 25 years, respectively).
Where Is Amanda Knox Now?
Knox was incarcerated for almost four years in Italy, but she eventually returned to the city of Seattle, where she had spent her childhood and early adulthood. The 34-year-work old’s with the Innocence Project, a nonprofit group fighting unjust convictions, began after he was exonerated of murder charges.
After being freed, Knox returned to Italy in June 2019 to appear as the keynote speaker at a conference on criminal justice organized by the Innocence Project.
Knox is a journalist and the author of a book titled Waiting to Be Heard, which was published in 2013.

Amanda, unlike many others involved in high-profile instances, has been vocal not only on social media but also in the press. Having created social media sites following her exoneration, the Washington native discussed in 2016 how she deals with the “trolls” that torment her online.
Obviously, she told the Seattle Times, “people are assaulting in a way that is irrational and inappropriate and out of context,” so it’s natural to feel protective. However, the first line of defense is to show weakness and show empathy to the accuser. Unfortunately, not every troll will treat you with humanity. However, all you can do is sit down across from another person and admit that you, too, are a human being and that your identity is more expansive than the one they have constructed for you.
Is Amanda Knox Married?
Knox wed author Christopher Robinson in November of 2018. The wedding in Washington state featured a space theme. Knox chose a yellow princess gown with white sleeves and kept her hair pulled back for her space wedding. Her friends and family went all out for the wedding theme, dressing as knights, pirates, and princesses among others.
Knox and Robinson met for the first time when Robinson evaluated the novel of her future husband for a regional publication. Robinson has been shortlisted for the Yale Younger Poets Prize, the Colorado Prize for Poetry, and the Ruth Lilly Fellowship. After three years together as a couple, they finally got engaged and shared the news via social media video.

On August 2021 Amanda Knox Will Announce Her Pregnancy
A month after having a miscarriage, Amanda and her husband Christopher announced in August 2021 that they were expecting their first child together.

In October 2021 Amanda Knox Will Become A Mother For The First Time
Amanda announced the birth of her daughter and gave her name on October 22. During an interview with The New York Times, the podcaster said, “I will say I’m delighted to not have to keep pretending not to be a mom.” She and Christopher have selected the name Eureka for their infant, who is also the couple’s first child together. Amanda posted an Instagram photo of her and her kid, writing, “this is the only photo of her I will ever put on social media.”
