Who is Ben Napier?
American TV personality and host of the HGTV series “Home Town,” Ben Napier is also an entrepreneur and skilled woodworker with a background in historic preservation. Aside from establishing the Laurel Mercantile Company, he also established the Scotsman Company. Ben received his BA in History from Ole Miss in 2007.
He then dedicated himself to learning the trades of carpentry and restoration of old buildings, which he finds deeply satisfying. Make Something Good Today, a book he wrote, is another of his accomplishments. On January 24th, 2016, he and his wife began filming the pilot episode of their show, in which they would both star. He ran for Laurel City Council Ward in 2013, but Manuel Jones received 166 more votes and ultimately won.
In December of 2004, Ben and Erin Napier met as students at the University of Mississippi. They fell in love in less than a week together. The couple got engaged in September 2007 after years of dating.
The two tied the knot on November 22, 2008, after dating for many years. Helen Napier, his daughter, was born on January 5, 2018, making him a proud father alongside his wife.
