Nijika, a young woman, approaches her one day while she plays guitar in a park. After the guitarist for her so-called “Kessoku band” ditched them right before a big performance, she approaches Gotou and asks if she’d be interested in joining the group.
Gotou, being more of a loner, yielded to her persuasiveness. Her other bandmate, bassist Ryou, was waiting for her when she and Nijika arrived at the venue. Their first show was so lacklustre that they brought back their old guitarist, Kita. Now that they’re a full band, the four of them want to be recognized as among the greatest.

Even though Gotou has never had friends before, she has learned a lot from her bandmates. Gotou was given the nickname “Bocchi” by her bandmates since they saw she was shy.
