A Million Little Things Season 5 Cast

A Million Little Things Season 5 Cast And The Plot

Considering the startling events of the Season 4 finale of ABC’s A Million Little Things, it’s safe to assume that several cast members will not return for Season 5. Season 5 of A Million Little Things will return many series regulars and recurring characters. We’ve broken down who may be leaving and returning for Season 5 below, including what will happen to Deliah Dixon (Stéphanie Szostak).

A Million Little Things Season 5 Cast

David Giuntoli (Eddie Saville), Romany Malco (Rome Howard), Allison Miller (Maggie Bloom), Christina Moses (Regina Howard), Grace Park (Katherine Saville), James Roday Rodriguez (Gary Mendez), Tristan Byon (Theo Saville), Lizzy Greene (Sophie Dixon), and Chance Hurstfield (Jake) make up the core cast of A Million Little Things (Danny Dixon).

Although ABC has not officially announced Season 5 casting, those actors are all but guaranteed to return. As Delilah Dixon, Stephanie Szostak hasn’t been seen since the Season 3 conclusion, and whether or not she will return to the role is unknown.

Back in September 2021, Nash told TVLine that COVID travel restrictions were the original reason Delilah wasn’t on the program but that Szostak would still be a frequent guest star in Season 4. (Although the actor’s family resides in Connecticut, filming takes place in Vancouver, British Columbia.)

Due to Canada’s mandated 14-day quarantine for international tourists, “[Szostak] has, for the first two seasons, lived away from her youngsters and her husband,” Nash told TVLine in September 2021. We figured she’d return, so we wrote her out of [Season 3]. Following this, she remarked, “I need to be with my family more; I don’t want to do all the episodes.”

The actor has not yet appeared, as her character is still in France as of the penultimate episode of Season 4. However, it seems unlikely that she wouldn’t return in some capacity for the show’s possible last season.

The Story Of Season 5 Of “A Million Little Things”

The Story Of Season 5 Of A Million Little Things

While Maggie and Gary continue their IVF adventure and maybe become pregnant, ABC has teased that their love will be “tested once again” in the Season 4 finale and in an interview with Showbiz Cheat Sheet from May 11, Melora Hardin, who reprised her role as Maggie’s mother Patricia Bloom in Episode 19 to cheer on her daughter’s new relationship.

He hinted at “some beautiful resolutions, in some respects” for the trio at the end of the season. Nash “holds his cards so close to his chest,” so she is unsure how their story will unfold.

Meanwhile, after her ex-husband Peter (Andrew Leeds) dies, Eddie learns “a stunning secret” about his girlfriend Anna (Erin Karpluk) that would undoubtedly change the course of their relationship. When asked by TV Insider in early May about his character, Giuntoli said, “I think he wants to give Anna the benefit of the doubt.”

This was before it was revealed that Anna might have been involved in the murder. “I think Eddie understands that the dissolution of a marriage and the disruption of a former spouse’s life is a traumatic experience, and so he is pretty forgiving when he learns that she had been lying to him and drinking and all that. He wants to be there for her in ways he wasn’t for Katherine because he loves her and wants what’s best for her.

Theo, Katherine’s son, sought advice from “an unusual source” after learning that his mother’s relationship with Greta (Cameron Esposito) had deteriorated following Shanice’s (Nikiva Dionne) recent visit.

It doesn’t matter how Katherine’s romantic life develops, Season 4 episode director Giuntoli feels they’re “truly crushing post-divorce,” calling the exes’ newfound friendly dynamic “the best aspect of their relationship.” “I know Eddie still has sentiments, good and bad, and I’m sure Katherine does too,” the actor continued, “but they are supporting each other for the welfare of their son.”
